New Pattern – Penelope the Seahorse Softie

I have added a new pattern to my shop! This is Penelope the seahorse. She is a cheeky and clever little seahorse. When she’s not telling jokes or playing tricks on the starfish, she loves nothing more that a good game of chess and a cucumber sandwich (made with sea cucumbers of course).

This pattern is really simple to make so it’s suitable for beginners. I designed it to be soft, tactile and free of buttons or other things that could be dangerous for babies or toddlers, making it a lovely softie for small children. The finished size is approximately 26 cm (10 3/8″) so it’s a great project for using up small scraps of fabric. The instruction booklet includes step by step instructions, lots of photos, and diagrams showing you how to do the different techniques used to make Penelope. It is in my shop now! Yay!
