Earlier this week I was lucky enough to receive a preview copy of the latest edition of Nuno Magazine. It’s an ad-free PDF magazine that offers heaps of DIY tips and projects using salvaged materials. The spring edition of Rustle is filled with lots of lovely spring inspired projects including tissue paper flowers, a bird shaped bean bag, crochet flowers, plastic bag peonies, a fabric cloche hat, a bunny mask (great to keep the kids occupied over Easter) and much more.
The magazine’s projects are all very simple and would be suitable for DIY beginners. Quite a few of the projects would also be suitable for children. I made these pretty tissue paper flowers featured on the cover of the magazine. I modified the look slightly by tying them to a piece of jute twine (instead of a branch) to create a garland.
While here in the Southern Hemisphere I’m not feeling particularly Springy, the projects are lovely no matter what season you’re in. The magazine is available at a bargain price here. From now until the 1st of June a portion of the cover price will go toward helping poverty stricken families in Tunisia.
