One of the things I love about the internet is the vast array of creative projects to be inspired by. If you’ve been hanging around my blog for a while, you may have noticed that I really like making stuff! I love that the internet allows creative types to share their projects, thoughts and ideas so we can all encourage and inspire each other. I also really appreciate when bloggers create great tutorials to share their projects with the rest of us, because I know how much time and effort goes into making tutorials! So here are some links to some great DIY projects I’ve found online. Maybe one day I’ll find the time to make some of them!
I love daisies and I love crochet. As much as I love real daisies, crochet daisies have the distinct advantage of not making me sneeze! This daisy blanket is simply beautiful and Speckless has come up with a tutorial for how to make crochet daisies here.
I’m loving the trend of recycling vintage wooden crates into all kinds of useful things. French by Design has collated some inspiring ideas here.
I adore both of these scarves and would love to give them a go once I get a bit better at knitting. The Purl Bee is sharing the pattern here.
Cynthia Shaffer shares a great tutorial for recycling old tins. I love how simple, pretty and useful this project is.
Not exactly a tutorial, but WREN Handmade’s crochet mobile is inspiring nonetheless.
I really want to learn some basic quilting skills and this series of tutorials by Make and Takes looks like a great way to learn!
