DIY Christmas Decorations Roundup

Lately I have been showing you some of the DIY Christmas decorations that I have made. Homemade Christmas decorations not only look pretty, but they are often inexpensive to make and are fun to create with family or friends.

These are the decorations I have made:

Here are some other great Christmas decoration tutorials that I have found on the web. I hope you have fun decorating your home this festive season!

I used pages from an old book to make the kusudama ball (pictured above), using this tutorial. If you are very astute you may notice that the work in progress photo shows the flowers with six petals, while the finished ball has flowers with only five petals. That’s because I was naughty and didn’t read the instructions properly! I had to very carefully remove a petal from the first couple of flowers I made. Oops! But it all worked out in the end and I’m happy with the final result.
